The physical foaming nucleating agent is composed of carrier resin, foam stabilizer, nucleating agent, antioxidant, dispersant, etc. It can effectively reduce the free energy barrier of nucleation, form a large number of evenly distributed nucleation points, and give the foamed products fine and uniform pores, EPE foam production line.

NL-CH2609 is a high-performance physical foaming nucleating agent specially formulated to enhance the quality and efficiency of foam production processes. Composed of a carefully selected blend of carrier resin, foam stabilizer, nucleating agents, antioxidants, and dispersants, this product significantly lowers the free energy barrier required for bubble nucleation. This results in a high density of uniformly distributed nucleation sites, leading to foamed products with exceptionally fine, consistent, and closed-cell structures.
Ideal for use in EPE (Expandable Polyethylene) foam production lines, NL-CH2609 ensures superior foam quality with reduced cell size (30–50 microns finer than typical competing products), improved surface appearance, and minimal defects such as black spots even after prolonged operation or shutdown cycles. Its food-grade, environmentally friendly composition makes it safe for applications involving food contact, while its odorless and non-sticky properties ensure smooth processing and end-product safety.
Key Features
Reduces nucleation free energy barrier effectively
Promotes uniform microcellular foam structure with cell size reduction
Minimizes black spots during extended runs or shutdowns
Food-contact safe and environmentally compliant
Non-sticky, odorless, and high whiteness
Easy to handle and integrate into existing extrusion processes
Application Areas
EPE Foam Production: For packaging materials, shock absorption, and insulation products.
Food Packaging: Suitable for foam trays, containers, and other food-contact foam products.
Construction and Insulation: Used in foam boards and panels for thermal and acoustic insulation.
Automotive Industry: For lightweight, cushioned components and interior padding.
Consumer Goods: Including foam sheets, rolls, and molded parts for protective packaging.
Extrusion-Based Foam Processes: Compatible with various polyolefins including PE and PP.
